On the morning of January 28, 2026, the 7,300 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker (WZ2203), constructed by Zhoushan Dashenzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., reached a key milestone in its building process: the Four-Party Confirmation Ceremony for the Keel Laying.
Representatives from the Owner, Shanghai Jinghan Shipping Co., Ltd., the Surveyors from the China Classification Society (CCS), the Representatives from the maritime authorities, together with the company's core management team, gathered to form a joint confirmation group. The group first conducted a comprehensive and meticulous inspection and verification of the construction accuracy of the initial block to be erected, the quality of the duplex stainless steel welding, and the on-site safety measures. Subsequently, the representatives jointly signed the confirmation documents for this WZ2203 keel laying milestone, signifying the successful achievement of this major milestone under the rigorous supervision and collective witness of all parties.
